“Shape Shifting: Explorations in Dimension, Color, and Movement”.
These are whimsical collages crafted from discarded hand made Japanese and Western paper jewelry. I recycled the jewelry so I could fashion the relief paintings on a canvas board. Some of the paintings represent idiosyncratic encounters, captivating places I've visited, surprising discoveries, spontaneous thoughts, and unplanned ideas.

“Life Cycles and Disturbances: Narrative and Visual Meditations” This series grew out of some jarring personal experiences. The works are conceptual narratives comprised of vibrant colors and representational images--some of which emerged from daily irritations and disturbances, while others represent more complex feelings, emotions and ideas like, loss, love, displacement, aging, and mortality. My intent in these pieces is to juxtapose conflict and serenity, stillness and disruption, calmness and dislocation.
